As the follow-up to DR8’s debut, ‘Thru The Machines’ released in the Spring of 2021, he returns to Belgium’s LINK Audio a year later with two new tracks that will be released on the label’s clear vinyl 12″ series, as well as digitally.
The structure of the tracks delivers intensity alongside a deep ambiance, while exploring new, unexpected rhythms and ear-catching drum work. On ‘Resist’, DR8 adds acid overtones to the electronica, while on the more experimental ‘Oth3r Soul’ he brings in elements of Dub Techno and Breakbeat.
